Rachel Eagles is an experienced nonprofit and finance professional with over 20 years of accounting, administration, and property management experience, currently serving as the appointed Village Clerk for the Village of Downs. She also works full-time as an Accountant with Lifesong for Orphans, providing financial oversight in Zambia and Haiti for global orphan care programs, schools, and sustainable businesses, and previously held senior accounting and leadership roles with the Stephens Family YMCA, First Presbyterian Church of Urbana, University of Northern Colorado and Generations of Hope.
Rachel’s background includes extensive experience in budget management, audits, grant administration, financial reporting, HR functions, and multi-site operations across both nonprofit and private sectors. She studied Non-Profit Administration at the University of Northern Colorado. She brings a strong commitment to accuracy, transparency, and community service to her role in local government.
Rachel and her husband live in Downs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, backpacking, eating delicious food, and traveling.
