a public hearing will be held on a petition for approval of the Preliminary Plan of the Kickapoo Creek Estates Subdivision submitted by Chad and Denise Mayes regarding the following described real estate:
The South 14.4 acres of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 5, Township 22 North, Range 3 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Village of Downs, McLean County, Illinois, EXCEPTING THEREFROM all that part of County Highway No. 29 right of way dedicated to McLean County, Illinois, according to the instrument of Dedication recorded as Document No. 75-4489 in the McLean County Recorder of Deeds Office, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of the NW ¼ of Section 5; thence S.89°-17’11”E. 36.46 feet on the south line of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of said Section 5 to the Point of Beginning on the east right of way line of County Highway No. 29; thence N.00°-32’54”W. 465.45 feet on said east right of way line of County Highway No. 29 to the north line of the South 14.4 acres of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of said Section 5; thence S.89°17’-11”E. 1311.33 feet parallel with the south line of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of said Section 5 to the east line of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of said Section 5 as monumented; thence S. 00°-08’-52” W. 465.36 feet to the southeast corner of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of said Section 5; thence N. 89°-17’11” W. 1305.67 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 13.98 acres more or less with assumed bearings given for description purposes only.

The petition for approval of the preliminary plan and other documents pertinent to the preliminary plan are on file with the Village Clerk and can be inspected by the public at the Village Hall at 211 S. Seminary St., Downs, IL between the hours of 8:30 am – 12:30 pm Monday – Friday.
All interested persons have the right to appear at said hearing and will be given an opportunity to present evidence and be heard under the public hearing rules and posted agenda. |
