Great news today, the water plant has passed ALL its required tests for us to put it online. We are scheduled to have all the players in town the week of April 7th to take the steps needed. If everything works out, we should be going online the week of April 14th.
Once the plant is operational, we will start softening the water around 50% and slowly increasing it to around 75-80%. We will also start flushing the water mains to clear out as much sediment as possible, but this process will probably take time. We will communicate progress over our FB page and website as we progress. It will be left to the discretion of each homeowner and their preferences if they want to keep any current systems in their home. I am told once we are operating at our softener target you will no longer need a water softener. We will recommend a whole house filter to catch any debris in the water if you don’t already have one installed. RO systems and other filtration systems will be up to each homeowner’s preference.
