Message from the County Highway Department: South Seminary at Main Street - Daily closure for 4/11/24, weather permitting. If weather prevents a working day, we will continue as planned on the following day (Friday 4/12). This closure is expected to last for the entire working day as pipe will be placed across seminary. While we will plan on having the road open after hours, unforeseen utilities are always a concern and may extend this closure short term.
Road Closure:
North Seminary Street from 150 to Washington St will be closed starting April 1st and will continue to the end of the project, estimated to be August, 2024. Additionally, the area from Franklin north to Washington (South Seminary Street) will remain open to local traffic. The entire East side of Seminary will begin storm sewer construction on April 2nd.
Routing Details:
To avoid the problem of excessive traffic and large vehicle traffic through town, additional Road Closed to Thru Traffic barricades will be placed in the following areas:
- On Seminary just south of Franklin St
- At Seminary & Route 150
- On East & West Maine St.
- On East Washington St
Washington street is planned to remain passable for local traffic. |
