PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Downs (“ZBA”) that on March 17, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Downs Fire District Community Room, 102 W. Main St, Downs, IL and ZOOM a public hearing will be held on a petition for zoning map amendment and variances request submitted by Julia Davis, as authorized agent for Everlast Holdings, LLC to change the zoning classification from A – Agriculture District to a mixed use classification of C2 - General Commercial District and R3 – High Density Residential; and to grant zoning variances as requested in the petition on the following described real estate:

An accurate zoning plat of the subject property’s proposed mixed use zoning, ZOOM connection information to attend the public hearing via ZOOM, and a copy of the petition are on file with the Village Clerk and can be inspected by the public at the Village Hall at 211 S. Seminary Street, Downs, Illinois between the hours of 8:30 am – 12:30 pm Monday – Friday, on the Village of Downs website (www.villageofdowns.org), and Downs GPS Facebook page.
