TIF 3 Redevelopment Plan - Revised


The Joint Review Board, which consists of the taxing districts had some concerns with inclusion of parcels that could contain large residential development.  There where 3 parcels that were identified in our Land Use Plan as pure new residential development. 

Since this TIF focuses on commercial development and our Village Board has taken a position that we are not in the business of funding residential development, I have decided to remove the parcels(areas) that are identified as new residential.  This guarentees the property tax dollars for the school and fire district, if residential development happens, will flow directly to them without special agreements.  It also guarantees the intention and current direction of the Village Board is carried forward in the future.
