On Saturday June 1st, the Village will have a large dumpster container available to dispose of unwanted bulk items. Now is a good time to start your spring cleaning to take advantage of free disposal.
In addition, please take note of areas that may need specific attention before they become ordinance violations with fines which include abandoned, inoperable or unlicensed vehicles and trailers, garbage and refuse, weeds, grass or plants other than trees, bushes, flowers or ornamental plants that grow to a height exceeding twelve inches. See ordinances, chapters 4, 8 and 16 for more specifics. Junk, garbage and overgrown weeds provide places for unwanted animals to live and create unsafe living environments.
